The only difference is Hawke is protected by his or her inherited wealth and as a result anyone who does scrutinize you ends up just trying to explain patiently why you're dumb and then sighing and giving up. lol no DA2 is terrible in every where, from the dumb story, to the weak writing, to the same dungeons used 47 times apiece, to the terrible combat wave dealie. It was so bad that it bumped DAI up from "mediocre, bordering on bad" to only below-average for me.

DA2 is basically an Obsidian game, interesting narrative experiment and characters attached to a rushed and unfinished game. Of all the things to criticize it for them not trying isn't one of them, especially considering it was made in about a year. It's like how calling someone a hack had a specific meaning once upon a time but now goons just use it to mean "person I don't like made thing I don't like".

In most cases on SA, both parties are wrong. There was a girl who defended weird lizard bestiality, but then got beat by her father who was (I think) a district attorney and people thought that was funny. Everyone was wrong.
