So there definitely is a wide space for AR games that is something else entirely from VR/Monitor gaming.

my solution to vr hair is "idc lol i'm already wearing a monitor" realtalk, my hair is pretty long and straight so the hmd goes just on top of it all and doesn't really mess with it, if you want an alternative to "shave it" and "own it"

I'm less concerned about VR hair and more concerned about red face from the HMD pressing against my face. Always a hoot when I step out of my room and my family wonders what the gently caress happened to my faaaaaaaace.

I wanna play more VR but the most recent Rift S update in December botched the controllers somehow. The controllers will drop input for a split second every ten seconds or so which kills turning and moving in Serious Sam VR. I will be running from an enemy, turning to shoot at it, and my char just stops moving until I use the sticks again. Games that don't use stick movement or turning seem mainly unaffected. Since we're like a month into it, does anyone know of a way to restore the older firmware on the headset and controllers? I am not playing anything from the Oculus store so losing that functionality is no big deal.

As far as I can tell it's some movement and animation systems tied to everything DAZ3D which is already used to manufacture 3D porn. Mix in a modding community and you have a healthy ecosystem of people sharing all sorts of kinks. It's kinda like BeamNG in that it's less a game and more like a physics toybox. Just instead of softbody vehicles smashing into walls and each other it's soft body boobies bouncing into walls and each other.

Support tells me it is a known issue and they are working on a fix but no ETA. At this point the headset has been boxed up for most of the time I've had it and I'm willing to either downgrade, if possible, or wait another week for an update before I just sell it.

Well the delivery on my Skywin 3-in-1 Vive cable's changed from next Wednesday... to today  . I got priority shipping from the US to Australia, but that's still just a wee bit quicker than expected.edit: It arrived! Quick 5-minute-test review: This thing's pretty great. It's three parallel cables bound together like the Vive's original cable, and it spools up naturally so it's less likely to get caught underfoot and stood on (plus they're thicker and more durable). If you have a DAS like me (and you should  ), you'll have to run it over your head like with the original strap instead of through the cable tie on the right-hand side, but it actually feels lighter than the original cable.

Any reviews out for Saints and Sinners? From what I have seen it looks like a good single player game. I enjoyed Arizona Sunshine a lot (though it hasn't aged super well) and an updated version of that with all the newer lessons learned in VR sounds great.
