I was digging this thread so I wandered over to r/whatcangowrong. Just saw three people die — don’t think I’m going back there. Guess the schad is on me.

I tried this as a kid and the result was a less dramatic rear end-over-head and mocking from my brothers.

GolfHole posted:The gym is counting on you doing that. Imagine a law system that will side with a company wanting to charge for a service that a customer doesn't actually use or want. This is particularly bullshit with gyms because most people sign up then quit after a month leaving the gym to just take money from them for however long it takes the customer to jump through the appropriate contracted hoops in order to cancel. What I'm saying is, gym contracts shouldn't be a thing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jEQmE-j-bo

Isn't that particular one as old as stones? I remember reading it in what I'd estimate to be the early 2000's.

Apparently it's from a magazine column by Charles M. Sevilla called Great Moments in Courtroom History where he also received stories from readers. A collection called Disorder in the Court: Great Fractured Moments in Courtroom History was published in 1992. It was republished in 1999 and there's a lot of newspaper articles quoting that particular passage in 1999/2000. I do wonder why the brain had been removed before the autopsy though, I guess it's supposed to be a serial killer case?
