Ragtime All The Time posted:What the gently caress $240 to $900 in the course of a year I don't know macroeconomics at all but something tells me that if Tesla and other stocks are performing like this, for there to be a general upward market trend there must be others that are performing moderately well and others vastly tanking. Tesla as a company is sitting on a pretty good product with promising sales, but wouldn't a valuation at $900/share be driven off speculation on the company's potential? Assuming that potential is never reached, there must be some kind of correction, right? It's not like there's an electric car bubble right now, or home solar battery bubble (seems like 'green' tech/alt energy would only grow); could it be the self-driving/AI factor that hurts them? Or there doesn't have to be a correction, and the company valuation slows and inflation catches up with it? I know postulating for the stock market is meaningless, but like, this can't go on forever

The plutocrats are celebrating https://mobile.twitter.com/nytimes/status/1224755183185514496 Bloomberg already spent $250 million, so I guess he’s gonna up that to $500 million? He could set a hundred dollars on fire for ever dollar of that, and still comfortably be a billionaire.

The other non-Bernie candidates aren't great, but Biden as president would arguably be worse in the long run than four more years of Trump (assuming he would even beat him).
