Stealing this from the pyf historical photos/pictures threadAlhazred posted:
Despite outward appearances, the reunion was an unhappy one for Stirm. Three days before he arrived in the United States, the same day he was released from captivity, Stirm received a Dear John letter from his wife Loretta informing him that their marriage was over. Stirm later learned that Loretta had been with other men throughout his captivity, receiving marriage proposals from three of them. In 1974, the Stirms divorced and Loretta remarried, but Lt Col Stirm was still ordered by the courts to provide her with 43% of his military retirement pay once he retired from the Air Force.[6] Stirm was later promoted to full Colonel and retired from the Air Force in 1977.[7] After Burst of Joy was announced as the winner of the Pulitzer Prize, all of the family members depicted in the picture received copies. All depicted children display it prominently in their homes except for Colonel Stirm himself, who says he cannot bring himself to display the picture.[5]

Bloomberg never needed to win, he just needed to make people not vote for Bernie, which he has successfully done. I want Bernie to win as much as anyone else, but it's not happening.

Half a century of gutting Civics and Government classes have paid off-- the youth not only don't vote they most likely don't even know wtf the primaries are beyond what they're fed on the news. I wouldn't be shocked if most were even aware that they could vote in them, let alone early vote or absentee vote. Bernie could win if the youth actually mobilize, but he doesn't have the "cool" factor of Obama and we're coming off 4 years of Hellworld and nearly four decades of Reagan''s long-rear end shadow, so it's an uphill climb even before you get to the fact that the Center-Right in the DNC have spent a near-cumulative billion to ensure Sanders doesn't connect.

So a lot of you are aware who Jim Browning is, as I believe he was mentioned earlier in the thread along with the likes of Kitboga. For those who don't know, he's a Youtuber who exposes scammers in hilarious fashion. Recently, he has been busy targetting one scam center in India, to the point of where he managed to download 70,000+ calls from the place, and access their CCTV. He gave the footage and information over to an english documentary program called Panorama, and they did a piece on it, as seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rmvhwwiQAY This exposure ended up getting the call center owner arrested, and the place was raided by Indian police. It's about as much schadenfreude as it is justice, imo. Part 1 of Jim Browning's video can be found here. It's worth a watch and goes into more depth about it all.

It could take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months to heal depending on the grade of sprain...continuing to walk/work on it will extend that time, or worse. If you have an avulsion or severe tears you might need surgery. I would get an aircast and some crutches to keep it safe. But you really need to be elevating it and keeping it iced to get the swelling down quickly. Also, since it's your driving foot you really should avoid driving rn with it weakened.
