Best gang tag!

This is perhaps the cutest detail I've seen yet in New Horizons: you can cut corners on 90-degree paths by doing a cute little hop over them.

I've infected a number of my friends with my ~~annoyance~~ hype for the game, and for those with a Switch, I've been telling them about the same -- if you're on the fence about it, go physical, just in case you bounce off and want to sell/trade. Otherwise, if you know you'll like it, it's a great game to get digitally, so you aren't swapping carts around a dozen times a day when you become an Animal Crossing lunatic.

Playing GC Animal Crossing again has been fun, it really holds up despite having less features and things to do than the later games. Really the only annoying things about it are having to send off every single fossil to be identified and the constant inventory management, which honestly was not even vastly improved as of New Leaf .

I had a physical copy of New Leaf and constantly having to swap out the cartridge drove me mad, so I'm going digital this time around. I wonder if the game will be pre-loaded onto the special edition Switches (in my country they come bundled with a copy of the game) or whether I'll have to wait for it to download on release day.

Booted up New Leaf last night and decided to give the town a celebratory de-weeding before I abandon them forever in favor of a permanent island vacation. Totally forgot Merry was still there; she is the only villager in New Leaf who stayed from the day I got the game until now. Hope you stop by my town in New Horizons, Merry. :unsmith:

Absolutely going digital here. Instant island access, anytime, anywhere. Plus the Switch cartridge flap thingy is so drat fiddly.

I'm still waiting to preload until after I get the AC Switch and get it all set up. Kind of impressed with myself for exercising the smallest modicum of delayed gratification.

Yep, I figured that much out. I'd reeeeally like the special switch but I think when push comes to shove, getting AC on time is more important than a fancy switch. (Considering I'm finally getting a switch now that AC is out on it...)
