My cousin had a persistent cough for 2, 3 years. After going back and forth someone tested for cancer. By the time they caught it it was really late so they hit the ground running, she didn't make it. She was really young, in her late 20s, early 30s. She also had an eating disorder thing going, one of the things she was told to do was that she was too thin (she was around average weight, if a bit thinner iirc), the nurse told her to just go hog wild on junk food. Anything she wanted she could have, just get some weight up because chemo was going to kill her appetite. I don't really have an ending to put here.

I love how every once in a while we get a string of posts filled with memes about a specific occupation. I never get them, but it makes me happy that there are memes out there that speak to a certain subset of people.

Nurse memes annoy me because nurses already pat themselves on the back way too hard and call themselves super heroes and poo poo. Not all nurses, obviously, but that 25% that share a constant stream of “only nurses will get this” self congratulatory poo poo on Facebook are the most noticeable even if the minority. Then again, complaining about it is just asking for someone to drop 500 of them

Keeping Up With Appearances is the BBC's most exported show. You figure it would be Doctor Who or some such. But nope. Even I have nostalgia for the show, despite being an American kid in the 90s.

Pretty well only on stainless steel (dc low amp stuff on thin wall RHS and thin sheet mainly). It's P cool
