Just watched Fascination last night and really dug it. Want to jump more into Rollin so I think I'm going to do Lips of Blood and/or The Demoniacs tonight. Other than more of his filmography, anyone have any similar sleazy vampire flicks of the 70s that I should pursue? e: The lustier the better. feedmyleg fucked around with this message at 21:09 on Apr 5, 2020 |

Their WWE poo poo and low budget Rabid remake aren't of interest to me, but I wish someone would give them more money. They have a good mind for body horror and are at least interesting.

Watched [rec] and [rec]2 today. Not bad at all. Should I go for 3/4?

Eh, I think 1 and 2 were much better. I don't think I saw 4.

Come to Daddy was really good, just the kind of craziness I needed. Plus it was a nice palate cleanser in the midst of going through all the F13s on Shudder

3 kinda sucked, and had really nothing to do with the first 2, where 4 was a continuation of 1 and 2. 1 and 2 were pretty great. 3 I didn't watch much of, and 4 was interesting but not fantastic.

If you don't keep at least three of the others then you don't even have Scream to pick. Also it's Carrie, Halloween and The Exorcist, and the only one of those you get to debate is Carrie versus TCM.

Weirdly between the forum love for Exorcist III and my love for the Exorcist TV series I'd argue that Pazuzu has the best rate of return value of the bunch.

dorium posted:Myers (because I want those next two movies very badly) I would've said Jason instead of Michael Myers but Halloween '78 and Halloween '18 are just too perfect. I wasn't even a Myers fan until '18, then it just clicked and now he's up there with the greats. TCM is my all-time favorite standalone horror movie (TCM 2 is amazing, but it's pretty much The Choptop Show) so Leatherface is on the list for that alone. And my favorite horror franchise is Child's Play/...of Chucky, so I have to include Chucky on my list.

It was recommended to me in this thread so I thought maybe disaster counted as a subgenre of horror or something. Good movie tho
