I put this on because I thought it would be so bad it was funny, and it had its moments of that, but it was mostly overly long, boring and stupid. About halfway through the match I turned my PS4 on and started playing a game about a viral outbreak famed for being miserable to play because that was less depressing than devoting my full attention to this match. The finish was one of the stupidest things I've seen but it came close to saving the match because it was so funny.

The satellite feed leaked early and the finish was one of the stupidest I've heard all year. I'm not voting for this because I wasn't going to watch a match between two minor leaguers who flopped in the majors and got optioned back to AAA, but I'd expect it to be bad.

I'm still amazed at the top rope air raid crash to the floor which was then edited to be no sold by both guys almost seconds later.

Sad to add my 5th. I think these two are great and I've loved all their other matches but this was just dire. At first I thought it was just okay but couldn't understand where all the hate was coming from... at which point I realized the match still had over 30 minutes to go :cripes:

It just went downhill from there, the half-assed attempt to be cinematic might have somewhat worked if this wasn't happening a couple of days after The Boneyard Match and the Firefly Funhouse match, but even if it hadn't it was just way, way, waaaaay too long to the point it became parody. Then the ending... oof. On paper it works I guess in that it's Johnny finally outsmarting Ciampa after over a year of getting outplayed by him or never quite being able to finish him off, but in execution it was just terrible. What a goddamn shame.

Nth to both of these. In the last three weeks Kenny has given us a Triple A match, a New Japan match, and now a DDT match.

Britt is getting so much better. I REALLY disliked her for the longest time, but they flipped the switch and let her grow in her character. AEW really can get any old weird seed to grow.

Absolutely insane and surreal match that you owe it to yourself to watch unspoiled. From the THIRTY MINUTE staredown that opened to the match to the five minute headlock, to Fujita chugging loving hand sanitizer to the tour of Korakuen Hall to Fujita repeatedly kicking Go right in the head to Go repeatedly clotheslining him into defeat with two minutes left on the clock

It was a very special match and I'm not sure we'll see anything like it again.

I was really, really, REALLY late for this, but yeah. Nth.

Believe this show is going to be put on YouTube so keep an eye open for that. This was a really fun 6 man tag that basically devolved into a Suwama and Ishikawa singles match by the end and that ruled. I'm right on the border of HM and MOTYC.

It also had a surprisingly good atmosphere for an empty arena match (whole show really)

That�s a shame. The Ciampa v. Gargano matches were usually really good, but I guess it ended up getting hurt by ill-timed injuries that kept delaying the blow-off.
