I gotta say, this guy managed an amazing cross section of "I don't actually care about science fiction that was written since I was 12" and "I am unbearable."

IIRC comedity was some unreadable Penny arcade clone Lol, I just looked up Mookie's arc drawing in Star Power and it almost immediately becomes a giant minotaur beating the poo poo out of his main character. Why always the violent beating of women Mookie? Beelzebufo fucked around with this message at 04:39 on Apr 11, 2020 |

I wish Mookie was the only creator I'd heard of that kept his spank material on the same website as their public-facing stuff. There was an ok Mega Man fangame that got a lot of traction a while back, more than it really deserved IMO, and people who looked around his website soon found the massive amount of porn he'd drawn, almost entirely of Shampoo from Ranma 1/2.

I have no idea what emotion is supposed to be conveyed here by Snout, or what is exactly happening in the argument. In general Mookie is just so bad at this - his version of showing this scene without dialogue does nothing but confuse the reader. Is that the intent? Are we supposed to be as confused as Snout? But that confusion is entirely manufactured, as both we and Snout are being left out of key backstory and context about the Ink Witch and orc, and not out of necessity, since Snout can fully converse just fine with her. He has no reason to go along with any of this or trust the Ink Witch, aside from his unjustified obsession with Deegan, and not much reason to fear the orc compared to the other dangers he's faced (although that's certainly subjective).

I can offer no useful input since I've never heard of that webcomic, but I'm chilled to the bone at it being mentioned as being on par with anything Mookie's done. Have you got a link? I can't find it on google. Is it defunct? One of those drunkduck comics or something?

Ah well that's that then. The book's not important, its contents are not important. The only important information is that dreaming of the cube means you're there. Much like the pages were two font 50 sentences that contain such important plot information that they are impossible to remember, the book is just its cover.

Wow snout is dumb. We knew the cube meant order from the first ink tarot readings. But so what? Every twist and revelation in this comic leaves us with exactly the same understanding as before, which is to say none.
