I've got the Disable audio/video autoplay Violentmonkey extension, but that only seems to work for YouTube clips; anything like this: is already playing by the time I get down to it.

i catch myself sometimes getting mad cause a truck driver hosed up i dont hate the guy fallin asleep workin 20 hrs a day... the main fault is driving people until they make a fuckup that you can write off on the insurance innit. their fault.

In one, he’d been driving too long and was dead tired. He was nodding off in his seat. He called dispatch to let them know he absolutely could not continue driving. His dispatcher capitulated, and he went to sleep. Less than an hour later, a cop was banging on his door because his dispatcher had called the cops to say they couldn’t get ahold of the driver and were concerned about him. Knowing exactly where he was, they called the law to go roust him on the pretense of being concerned for him. Even for trucking, that was a scumbag loving move.
