Anyone that's dealt with the reserve world for a hot minute will recognize that it is all about minimizing costs while still *somehow* finding funding to keep the MAJ/LCDR on full-time orders. Also funny how some AD/GS types think reservists are just sitting at home waiting to come on orders to BFE middle of MA or IL.

Yeah, this has always been a tactic to save money by screwing over troops. My last unit had people who were going to stay down at NTC for more than 90 days, which would have given them a bunch of money and benefits, so the unit would send them back to home station for 24 hours on day 89. Wouldn't let them see their families, they had to stay on base because "opsec" for a normal training rotation.

Isn’t something like that the reason JRTC only goes for <30 days? Because you have to pay family separation after 30? You know some dickhead commander would love to do JRTC for like six weeks.

So on my news app I've noticed that lots of conservatives title their articles stuff like "Tucker Carlson: I'm a loving idiot and here's why". They're the only group of people that I've noticed that put their names into article titles, including lots of people I've never heard of.

It's throwing 2-3 points to Biden when it probably shouldn't be. Still, Biden is competitive in certain states (FL, GA, AZ) that would make unexpected Trump-strong states (WI) irrelevant - I don't really know of any unexpected state that Trump is competitive in, outside of Parscale's random bullshitting.
