Seems like kinda shaky logic to me.) He is probably better than BravestoftheLamps or Guy Mann though.

I've been seeing drat commercials about facemasks that have microsilver particles called BoomerNaturals and I can't decide if I'm sickened by the blatant Trumpyfolk marketing or if I'm sickened that they didn't register a mature pornhub studio with that name.

I don't think Trumpy folks want to even touch facemasks.

Starlord can just bop around in space so his mask must be doing something right.

I love that not only does Starlord have an outfit that basically lets him fly through space by hitting a button but that like its heavily implied all his poo poo is just second hand salvaged crap. Really puts into perspective the technology gap between Tony Stark and the rest of the universe.

He probably should have realized he wasn't a normal human when he flew around in space with the top of his head exposed.

He was raised on a salvage ship so I guess he had a really poor understanding of how protective human hair is.

I took the Knowhere scene to be just the edge of the atmosphere and not necessarily full vacuum not that that really helps the science. Is there another space scene where he doesn't have gloves or a hat?

Wasn't the word from that set that Ayer was an abusive rear end in a top hat? At least the actors like Snyder.

I just can’t muster any excitement for director’s cuts of movies that are just completely joyless and actively tiring to watch. Even with re-editing everything and stripping the music video score out and putting deleted scenes back in or whatever, the remaining footage is so boring and dated that I can’t imagine any new version being an improvement. The absolute best case scenario for a Suicide Squad: Director’s Cut is something that would have felt at home in the early/mid-00s desaturated superhero trend and at that point who loving cares?

Yeah, I feel zero enthusiasm for Director's Cuts of theses movies. I actually thought the theatrical cuts of JL and SS were entertaining enough (they're lovely movies, but at least they're fun lovely movies), but I feel like a large part of that is due to the post-production butchering both went through, and any kind of director cut would just turn them into the same boring slog that BvS was.

I wonder if the Ayer cut will still introduce Katana like: This is Katana. She's got my back. She can cut all of you in half with one sword stroke just like mowing the lawn. I would advise not getting killed by her. Her sword traps the souls of its victims.

Ayer probably has a better case for a director cut than Snyder, seeing that the studios pretty much got a trailer company to re-edit the film.

Kingtheninja posted:I didn't read too much about suicide sqaud, would the story really be that different from what we got? Among other things the actual pacing of the film was different and Harley Quinn and the Joker had more screentime/a more complete plot arc. There are other rumors as well but "Leto's Joker and Harley Quinn had an actual plot" is pretty confirmed. It still is going to be largely the same film with (MAYBE) better pacing/overall structure and more Jared Leto which is a net negative.
