Funny thing is I don't think Bakarina is a reincarnation completely, it seems instead that this is still Katarina from Fortune Lover, but given this person's memories and the shock at the idea that she'll die from a doomed route is really the sole factor for her personality change. But I can't explain the tree climbing this way so it doesn't quite match.

I interpreted it as Maria just having second-hand embarrassment at (at least) Keith and Mary's own discomfort; she's definitely nice enough to have empathy for how her friends feel.

I find it hilarious that they are attempting to express contrition for their actions but they are still calling Catatina despicable. If you can't get her to notice you then just wish her the best. Don't be sour because her harem doesn't have room for bullies.

Kind of disappointed they changed the confrontation from how it was in the manga. Maria's "We're not done talking!" line after the memory erasure fakeout really struck with me and it doesn't pack the same punch the way they did it here.
