if you put it at the start and what is after is good it doesnt matter but if you put it at the end or in the middle itll seem even worse also inexplicably gta 5 is one of the best selling games ever and still constantly sells ridiculous numbers, specifically for the online, so while its "lol a 7 year old game" here to normal people looking for reasons to buy the new ps5 "is gta 5 on it" is a real thing and the answer being "everyone gets gtao for free on ps5" isnt a bad response.

honestly i'm not even so surprised at it being a 7 year old game as it being a playstation 3 game, albeit i know those go hand in hand. like, i thought gta 4 was the ps3 one. hey niko, my cousin! remember that? remember when everyone hated that?

I just watched 18 minutes of Ghost of Tsushima in 4K and while it looks good, I can definitely tell that the PS5 stuff pops more. There is a graphical advancement, just not so seismic.

It's probably worth a mention here in Games that you can embed twitch channels/videos now! For example, here's a channel someone posted in the LP forum: https://twitch.tv/seeric Just slam the URL in video tags and it should Just Work™. Start times for video on demand not supported yet but will be soon. You say that but there's plenty of people that buy a brand new console at launch and just want the latest iteration of the thing they've always been playing. Yes but that's because the consoles are cheap as poo poo now so people who've been watching streams for years finally get the system and grab the games they want. No one getting a new day 1 ps5 is looking for a now 2 generations removed game to be on it, unless it's through back compatibly. Sony themselves argued no one gave a poo poo about ps3 games when they launched the ps4.

I will probably get a PS5 once FF7R2 is released and ends up exclusive for that. Everything else seems nice but not "drop half a grand in a pandemic recession" nice I feel like if there's anyone that skipped the PS4/XBONE generation a PS5 would be a great day one purchase though, I mainly got a PS4 because I skipped the 360/PS3 generation

The only true PS5 exclusives that interests me is Demon’s Souls and I’m not sure I want to buy a console just for a remake of a game I’ve beaten. Still feeling the burn of early PS4 too, this’ll maybe be the first PlayStation I don’t buy within the first year.

Pleasantly surprised by the TLOU2 reviews. Guess I'll have to give it a shot now rather than hold out for PS5 bc. I really don't like playing games on my PS4 anymore. The noise it makes wakes my partner up from two rooms away.
