This site is good for easy visualization of whether or not growth is exponential. It plots new cases vs. current cases (not time); if the growth in cases is proportional to current cases (i.e. if plot is linear), then growth is by definition exponential. https://aatishb.com/covidtrends/?region=US California, Texas, Arizona, Florida, and other states in the south and west are clearly experiencing exponential growth now, after bringing Rt close to 1 immediately after shutdown. If this persists, things are going to get out of control Edit: ignore the doubling time line, though, it is very misleading for curves that ever depart then return to exponential growth
