It's true, we all have AIDS in Britain. As part of the Brexit negotiations we actually won't let anybody into the country unless they have already contracted AIDS to ensure the purity of our bloodline.

We have an annual holiday where we all give each other CPR to spread the AIDS a little bit more.

As is pointed out every time, they don't (with extreme exceptions) give out a knighthood to sportspeople still active in a sport. It's done to people who are highly active in their field (youth support, etc) after they've peaked or fully retired. For instance, Henman and Murray 'only' have an OBE. Williams, Moss and Stewart were knighted between 1999-2001.
Lewis has an MBE, which is already a high honour for an active sportsman.
