Torpedoes away!
Plus, according to SpaceX's latest capital raise, they don't expect to even see significant revenue from Starlink until the 2030s.

i'm pretty sure starlink would have to be at least minimally functional to generate any kind of revenue. i realize this is a musk product, so that's not necessarily a safe assumption, but i don't know how far they'll get selling "satellite service, but worse and it drops out constantly"

like, charitably, they're just admitting that they think by the 2030s they'll have figured out how to actually do all the magic bullshit they've sold the service on

It would be hilarious if he got a program pushed through where you could trade your car in and get money from the government to buy an electric and people only buy Chevy Bolts.

he coded the whole thing by hand in php actually and its the exact same thing you use today and nothing ever changed about it

IIRC the only "technical" thing Musk ever actually did was the original code for Zip2, and after hiring other programmers they apparently immediately threw out all of his code.

Every time I see this photo I'm just in disbelief at how hilariously lovely that concrete is

What happens if one of the cars in the long line of cars going super fast right behind eachother has a flat?

The tunnels will be populated by cameras employing advanced AI technology to immediately detect any flat tires, at which point a set of robots along the edge of the tunnels will quickly change the tire while the car is still moving

You might think this is impossible, but think of it this way. Even regular human tire changers can change race car tires pretty fast, but for robots the only limit to the speed at which they can change tires is air resistance. As a result, the tires can be robotically changed in the blink of an eye.
