With Covid and everything, I can't imagine any movie making any box office money in the billions, maybe with on demand but still. Now all I pray is Marvel to lose it's traction and end the tyrrany of loud and extremely formulated super-hero movies. The only movies I'm remotely interested in Phase 4 are,uh, Thor 4 and Loki standalone maybe. The rest: Hawkeye? Blackwidow? Ghost Rider reboot?! Don't make me laugh, bitterly. What we need is more Garth Ennis.

What I wanted was a twist where they fail to destroy the Starkiller and it succeeds in blowing everything up. So the Starkiller becomes this existential threat that would loom over the whole trilogy, and our heroes would have to scramble to try and figure out how in the hell are they going to stop it (or hell, survive) in a universe where everything we knew about the old Star Wars is now gone. Just had a flashback to episode 9 buying popcorn and drinks Dude at concessions asked which knights of ren cup topper I wanted. I said I didn't know any of them or their names. He said he didn't know either, just if I wanted the gray, red, or black one. Then I watched the movie and realized the knights were used for jack poo poo so why were there cup toppers for these meaningless characters Then Rey did a james bond and called herself Skywalker and JJ ABRAMS gets flashed on the screen and it made perfect sense

I don't think it's wrong to enjoy a film just because one person involved is a piece of poo poo, but when it's the lead actor I find it hard to stay 'in' the movie. When I saw Annie Hall I couldn't stop thinking of Rainier Wolfcastle's Woody Allen impression.
