Got Gandling (golden), Gidra, Janice Barov, Slate and Alura from 85 packs. I wonder if anyone else gets higher ratios of dual legendaries to single class or neutral. Not bad, but none in the top tier of what I'd hoped for. Still got plenty of gold and dust for more.

Illucia, lilian,fireheart and Kel'Thuzad out of my 55. Not bad. A lot of warrior and Shaman legendaries too, so I guess rush warrior and totem Shaman are in my future.

Is there something I'm missing with the Fireside event? I tried setting it up for 3 CST and thought there was to be an in-game prompt to start it, but it never popped. I've tried checking in infrequently since then (set it for 4 hours) but nada.

Opened my stuff for pre-release and got Stellina, Illucia, Krastinov, Fireheart, and Alabaster. Not bad for 85 packs. I’m so much more excited about the golden Goody Two-Shields and golden Robes of Protection I pulled, though.

On a PC, you click the bottom left button (bring up the friends menu), then the arrow next to your name, that menu should have a "fireside gatherings" button.

Speaker Gidra seems really strong and the only way I can see it not being strong is if token Druid just completely crowds out the slower Druid decks and Shaman never takes off. Gidra plus Swipe (making her a “7” mana 5/8 rush with windfury) is comparable to Siamat. Hell, even Gidra in token Druid is a 5 mana 4/7 rush windfury with Power of the Wild? Card is just good. Fireheart is probably the safest craft. That card is going to be in every shaman deck for the next 18 months.

I think Gandling and Alura are really good. Barov and Slate are going to end up in something, Highlander if nothing else. Gidra... I honestly don't know. I don't play a lot of either Druid or Shaman. I feel like she definitely fits in Shaman but who knows if that class as a whole will still be relegated to dumpster tier. I don't know if she makes the cut in the current Druid ramp meta either.

I know for a fact I won't be playing anything except Priest/Paladin/Mage. Especially with duplicate protection being A Thing now, I dust every legendary and epic that isn't either one of those classes, a neutral, or from the Basic/Classic set. I agree that Fireheart has a shot to be excellent even if I did want a Shaman card. The bigger issue is whether Shaman is actually worthwhile as a class or not. It probably will be, based purely on Lightning Bloom existing - plus they also got another face spell, and Shaman gets scary real fast once they start collecting a few of those.

I’ve thought about dusting Illucia because I just don’t play priest since I don’t like what it does right now but I figure I’ll keep her in case there’s a priest deck that plays well and doesn’t take an hour to finish a game. I’m hoping I get Gandling or wildspeaker from one of the free legendaries since I feel like most of my dust is going to be filling out epics from the set.

What I meant was not the top based on my preferred play style, but I agree with you that Gandling, Alura and likely Gidra are solid cards. Fireheart was the #1 I was/am hoping for and still have a lot of epics to round off, especially Secret Passage.

Well, pulled Ace Hunter Kreen, Soulciologist Malicia, High Abbess Alura, Sphere of Sapience, Archwitch Willow. Not too sure what to make of it besides Archwitch being on the low end, I've been playing Pure Paladin for a while and High Abbess seems like it'll go in there. Pseudo-draw that either becomes a 4/7, a 5/8 that draws another card, or pops out an 8/8 Divine Shield Taunt. Kreen probably goes into DH pretty smoothly especially with Warglaives. Soulciologist probably goes into high end DH and most Warlock. Sphere is a good card it looks like but weird.

Disco is genuinely a really strong deck right now and demands decent control and a lot of ability to heal. Secret Mage can deal with it if you want something that's also aggro though, but you absolutely need to mulligan for ward and flakmage.
