I've considered making a Ra/Gu point blank launcher build for fun, but then I play Lillipa Ultimate and remember why I stick to ranged combat. I love the idea of a point blank launcher specialist though. Like a Grammaton Cleric but with a big anime cannon

PSO2 has done quite a few things that are slightly different from previous PS games, and I'm actually happy about that. Here's hoping there's a big unskippable popup about this when you start the steam version or a lot of people are going to blind themselves into making new accounts and be very very sad.

The big bold letters of "DON'T DO THIS TO YOUR ORIGINAL PLATFORM" makes me think that it'll end in a purge of account data lol. Christ this is all built on pick-up sticks.

So you should still be able to delete the windows store install after transferring to steam, you just have to leave your account linked to it. I don't care as long as I can just do everything through steam from here on out.

Zereth posted:There's also an option to "unlink" your account, by which they mean "erase the original account and leave the steam one intact". or vice-versa if you started on steam and want to go the other direction for, uh, some reason The unlink specifically doesn't work on the original platform you began playing on. So if you started on the Windows Store and moved to Steam, you could later unlink the Steam version, but you can never unlink the Windows store because it's the primary.

Love when the translators have no familiarity with the source material and the original company doesn’t care about the translations quality! Though technically it really is supposed to be Dark Phallus lol Btw where‘s all the cool datamined stuff posted nowadays? I’m pretty sure I asked this a few months ago but I already forgot, gomen nasai

Don't worry, the rest of the translation is on the level of a bad Super Famicom fanpatch, so you have lines like "what an iffy weather". Goddamn.

Just waiting on the steam launch of this game in an hour or so (?) going to have a good go at trying to get into this, last PSO I played was on either the game cube or the dreamcast (it's been a while, it was one of those 2) What server are most folk on, if I get my groove on it would be nice to have more fools around

The last time I played anything phantasy star was when I played the Dreamcast original phantasy star online for a couple hours before I realized that I need to have access to an internet connection to my Dreamcast to play the game properly with other people, I knew it was an RPG but the ‘MMO’ part was lost on my little brain. An online line exclusive to my Dreamcast which in the year 2000 in Saudi Arabia was not gonna loving happen lol.

Yeah, ship 2. Maybe stay away from block 69 even though it's pretty populated. The symbol art in this game is elaborate and the people there are pretty unrestrained. I updated my Windows store install, and even on that it throws up a message before even getting to start game explaining account linking and how important it is to get it right. Ships are down, of course.
