I'm the dumbest motherfucker imaginable and I'm not attractive at all and I've never run out of people who want to gently caress me. It's nice to have people in your life. Don't let a bad experience (lol yeah, I know what you're going to say to this) ruin your relationship with other human beings in the future. I've done a lot of dumb poo poo in my life, and I've always been picked up off the ground when I've figured things out again.

I bitch a lot about other people but I genuinely enjoy meeting and talking to people and the people I bitch about might be 10% of those I meet. Still too much, but we'll see what the future brings.

I scheduled a big meeting with like 12 people on tuesday, or wednesday cant remember, to go over as a group my runbook of steps for how I'm going carry out a non trivial migration. It's all scripted out with exact commands to be copy and pasted in order the day of the cutover. I've already ran it through with somebody else on my team - its a well-understood procedure even if its ridiculously widely scoped and potentially impacting. Feeling a lot of dread for this meeting now. Didn't think much about it until just now when I looked at the clock and saw that its somehow 8pm on a sunday.
