I mean, maybe, but imo it's more likely that Liuxue wouldn't be married to anyone where her partner would marry into her family, as that would be a marriage down, either socially or in cultivation strength. Man, wouldn't it be neat if there was some sort of culture class on offer to explain concepts like this?

Sure it's marrying down, but that lets you maintain cultivators in your house style. You have to weigh the advantage of keeping everyone from your own family and gaining talented lower class members vs. gaining an alliance with another high status house. The higher you rise, the fewer prospects at your level too. For great houses looking to make an equal alliance I'd also expect pretty complex marriage exchanges so no one actually loses a member, otherwise the house that gained someone is at an advantage.

You aren't tempted to try and learn it the quick and painful way, not yet at least. Healer Curada said it might take a whole year to learn this, and you've only tried it twice now. You can be a little patient and keep working on it in a way that won't hurt you or Wotjeo. B most of our techniques rely on weird dream stuff, but from what Min said early on, spirits strength could use some work on the fundamentals that apparently any teacher could handle, because we were spraying madra around us, instead of keeping it trapped inside.
