I was actually considering some other options, but I figured the third round was about right with Kupp's ankle and all the positive camp noise.

Literally who I was going to take with the 4.05 after Jarwin was taken right before my pick. I don't yet have a feel for where veteran FAs are going to go in drafts like this

I feel like we are at 8.09 from the guys on my pre-draft list.

I have no idea if I am taking my rookie favorites or random 5th year vets that are ready to roll.

Drafts are weird.

Edit: my predraft list is 14 people. I am a hoarder. Anyone want to trade for next years 3rd/4th/5th?

qbs don't matter in 1qb leagues unless you have lamar or mahomes

This is dynasty. If your guy gets hurt, you ain't gonna find poo poo on the waiver wire. Developing players is the name of the game in the hopes of finding the next Lamar or Mahomes.

Him being available is pretty weird.

I am not convinced Lamaar will ever do what he did again. Mahomes probably has another 30 years though

Frankly I'm surprised that there are so many teams that hadn't drafted a defense yet.

This is super true for RBs and WRs, but you can find a spot-start or two on the waiver wire in this league. I got Tannehill last year, for instance. I wouldn't try streaming QBs like you can in redraft though. I think the sweet spot is having one veteran starter and one younger guy with potential. QB careers are so long that once you hit on a guy you are really better served having more RB/WR lottery tickets on your bench.

You need at least 4 starting QBs to have a chance since if your QB dies, he dies.

Honestly, I had then targeted in the fourth, but between Lock and Kmet, I decided to pass despite being a homer.

I'm more annoyed that On The Bored Wop cut them. I know I made trade offers for them before. I totally would've traded for them!

I get your point, but to me the entire point of dynasty is accumulating assets. I just missed out on Lamar Jackson two years ago. If I had gotten him AND Mahomes, I am in a great position to win. I'm not saying Lock is gonna be that guy, but he's young enough and shown enough flashes that he could be trade worthy later.

There was that one offer last year but that was when I was brand new to dynasty and had zero idea how much any given draft pick might be worth. Still learning that, really
