melodic song that pretty quickly has rapping over it when cut for tik tok. rapping starts with “i don’t wanna” them either “hurt” or “make you work”, next line ends with the other

not death bed by powfu, but that’s what i associate it with cuz it’s the same concept and they were both popular on tt at the same time

Is it this one?

no

it’s the same format as death bed—chill lofi/folksy vamp with lyrics, then rapping comes in on top

edit: also it’s at/near 120bpm

Heard two while traveling around and finding random backwoods radio stations.

One was a very upbeat, recent-ish rock/pop, lyrics were something like "This is the sound of (life on Saturday?/drops on Watergate?)" and another section that sounded like the singer saying "I'm comin' out".

This turned out to be the sound of "dry bones rattling" (as in Ezekiel); the song is "Rattle" by either Celebration or Elevation Worship (it's not totally clear if the band has a name or it's just the church publishing it).

An '80s New Wave (?) song that keeps coming into my mind, but I never catch this song's title. In the chorus, the male singers spell out a word.

To make things clearer, I created an Online Sequencer that is a pretty close approximation: http://onlinesequencer.net/1623003.

The only songs from that I era I can think of with spelling:
Safety Dance
ROCK in the USA
And The Bay City Rollers' Saturday Night, but it's older and not new wave in the least

And one that might be mistaken for spelling, Come on Eileen.

Thanks for the suggestions!

I was thinking of groups that were likely to have performed this song and figured out the song: it's Method Of Modern Love by Hall and Oates. I was thinking of the chorus where they spell out 'M-E-T-H-O-D-O-F-L-O-V-E'.

There is a song that is by a female vocalist with a somewhat motown or maybe at the latest, 70's adult contemporary kind of arrangement that goes, in a very lilting tone, "Huggin, and kissin, and squeezin, and lovin'" or some similar combination of words as the main hook, which repeats throughout the song (words possibly change). It is kind of innocent in tone, and not as horny than even those lyrics make it sound. I'm sorry but that's all I've got.

It is not:
Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin' by Journey
Kissin and a Huggin by Joan Armatrading
Lovin' and Huggin' by Hank Williams

what the gently caress song is it i want to send a "sucking and loving" joke to my friend on snapchat

Okay strange request. I want songs from a band from 2005/06/07. They're UK based and called Misled Vision. They were all girl except for the guitarist who was male and wrote most of their music. I think his name was Eeege. They had two original songs that were really great but they also covered Marilyn Manson's Target Audience.

🚣RowboatMan: ❄️Freezing time🕰️ is an old P.I. 🥧trick...

I've requested this before, and it's weird (like the post above), where I have all the info, but I don't have any copies of the actual song.

It's by Eagleslayer (or Eagleslayer 2000), and it's called either "Handsome Dr Stabby Eyez"

Though it could be Mr instead of Dr, and it could be Eyes, instead of Eyez.

It's very much from the "everything random is funny!" era of the internet (like 1999-2004?) and I'm not saying it's a good song, but I do have that need to find it again.

For reference, Eagleslayer also did the much more popular "Boy With Robotic Arms"

Edit: found this, turns out is was Mr and not Dr.

Anyone with Amazon Music wanna check to see if that's actually there?

Like the last post, this is a bit backwards. I have the song.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3WM1xxh2rY

The Magic Pony is a 1977 English dub of a 1975 Russian adaptation of The Humpbacked Horse. I'm curious about the singer of Lonely Child. Unfortunately, information about the English dub seems to be pretty scant. The full movie is available on YouTube, but none of the voice credits are given. It's not this particular upload of this movie, they're just not given.

OK, this one is a bit tricky because the song is not well known and my description might sound generic.

It is a house track. I'm looking for an edit or a remix. There are male vocals singing something like "and I'm feeling down (chorus:) DOWN". The word 'down' is sung over and over.

Vogler
Feb 6, 2009
The lyrics must have been "get down (down)". Yes, I'm certain. Still can't find it.

Edit: Oh and it's not the Paul Johnson song. What I'm thinking of is more funky and RnB-ish.

Erin Moran is one of the main voices on the dub, and she was known for singing on Joanie Loves Chachi. If I listen to her singing on the show and compare it, I could believe it's the same person. Or all female singers in the 70s sounded the same, either one.

Yo, so I know the name of the song but cannot find it anywhere. I am 100% sure I was introduced to it here in like 2004 or something.

Song (maybe maybe MAYBE band) is called Java Junkie.

It's a kind of funky jazz thing. The recording I heard was a live recording. It included the phrase 'get the gently caress off of the fence' or something very similar and it loving slapped.

Anyone able to find it or know what I'm talking about?

Thanks but no luck with those. It was a really young woman and it was mostly static shots in a house or a neighborhood with her doing her thing with the occluding hula hoop. Hula hoop isn't in the song name though so searching for it just returns tons of junk. Thanks for the try.
