Just spent 20 minutes watching John Oliver's episode on the SC and if I wasn't mad before I'm livid now. How can hispanic people be represented as barely more than half of a white person in the senate in TYOOL 2020, how can black people still on count as barely three quarters of a person. What the actual gently caress. It's so loving disgusting. I did have a tiny lol when Mitt Romney implied both the Republican party and America are centre-right. Like...holy poo poo. In Germany twitter would have to block republican senators' tweets (and I'd guess some dems' as well) for how close to neo-nazi rethoric they are. What can I as a foreign white dude do to help? The New York Times only had his 1995 tax return and Maddow only had his 2005 tax return which showed that he paid $5.3 million. That's a pretty far cry from what's being shown here which is that he's consistently in massive amounts of debt. And yes, a lot of his supporters will handwave it away like they have done most things while he's in office. I never said every single supporter would abandon him, but this attacks their whole perception of who he is as a person. If this is true then his whole life and every single thing they've been told about him by people that they trust is a lie.

They are both engineers and live with 2 kids in an appartment the same size I was living in alone as a student. One of the kid is starting university and the mother would randomly knock on my door to offer me food. These people are so much better human beings than all the racist fucks claiming all refugees are only coming here to steal our jobs and profit from our system and that they risk nothing back home.
