Android Apocalypse posted:But the Pats have a worse receiving corps than the Ravens. They have one of the worst, full stop. It's old man Edelman and a bunch of scrubs. No downfield receivers and no thight ends, one nice receving back when White comes back and nothing else. The OL is fine but not as good as 2018 when they could just carry a medioce rookie back to however many yards they felt like gaining that day. Cam looks fine but nobody gets open when he tries to take a play action shot, he needs those plays and their success rate so far is dire.

Byrd and Harry have been more productive than I'd ever thought they'd be. Obviously still not a legit WR corp, but somehow the whole thing seems to be better than the sum of it's parts.

The OL has also been playing very well Michael Onwenu has looked great as a random rear end 6th round rookie at Left tackle.

Cam had an amazing season his MVP year but it still felt more like a "best player on the team with the best record" award. Lamar looked like he was transported from another dimension last (regular) season.

Yeah I'm not disputing that Cam was amazing or deserving of the award that year, it's just that Lamar's year was even better. I certainly don't believe it's "not even close" between the two.

It took a vast ref conspiracy to defeat Cam, Lamar turns back into a running back whenever he doesn't have a lead. Checkmate, Mr. Jackson.
