not sure if i misremembered ina saying this or if was a joke but she mentioned she spent a year just hunkering down and practicing drawing, and seeing her pump out something that good in three hours is super inspiring. not gonna lie, kind of makes me want to go innawoods with a drawing tablet and try and get good

Like to get to Ina levels, probably. But last summer I got tired of not being able to draw so I just started doing it everyday, even if it's just a bad circle that vaguely looks like a person. The streak broke after a couple months, but by the end of it there was a ton of improvement. My arts pretty garbo still, but it has style and anatomy and isn't scribbles anymore so I count that as a win. You just gotta be diligent, have fun and take it one step at a time. Watching streamers and asking art friends for advice are both really helpful as well. A big myth about drawing is that you need to be talented, and that's absolutely not true. You just need the drive to learn.

Kiara has already lined up a collab with Subaru and Watame might be one of the special guests at Callis concert next Friday. Gura has talked with Marine as well and apparently talked a lot with Shion

Drawing is literally just hand eye coordination, and if you do it enough, you develop the muscle memory to get better every time. Now, you can also learn bad habits being self taught, mostly to do with loving up your wrist. But seriously, anyone can draw.

So of course I had to ask in chat if she liked to sing-a about the Moona and the June-a and the Spring-a, and wouldn't you know it mere seconds later someone else had the same idea. Not sure whether to feel good about beating someone else to it or bad for the stupid reference.

For sure Amelia is going to collab with Moona considering Moona's been chatting on her stream for a good 30ish minutes. It's probably the best option since it'll allow for the collab to go off without a hitch and honestly shine a brighter light on the ID girls.

I do kinda worry that Amelia's japanese just isn't quite there and might present a barrier to collabs in the beginning. The main person to do a collab with outside of hololive EN would have been Coco or haachama but uh, yeah, so doing collabs with the ID girls who speak both english and japanese seems like a good idea at the start.

Also seems Hoshikawa will be taking some time off, I believe for having implied in her 300k celebration stream that she'd forged the stamp on a restaurant stamp card for a free drink, though she now clarifies that they'd only talked about something like that being possible with her friends and didn't actually do so. Guess implying having committed an illegal act didn't fly well, though it's a little comical for it to be a company-level deal. That Sara situation seems to be another thing being blown up by trolls just out to make chaos, just like the "garbage man" thing for Polka/Botan/Lamy where a slightly less well delivered joke gets taken out of context and is presented as looking down on service professions. Also, Kanata just got back from a 2 week leave for medical reasons, and now has had an accident (injury?) that will have her stay in hospital for another week.
