people tried to rob with bear mace once but it was the middle of winter and had my hood up and glasses on, so I managed to hoof it like 20 feet away while they chased me and grabbed my jacket and poo poo, and then they gave up had to walk home grabbing handfulls of snow to wipe my face, it was hosed

i got mugged when i was in college and i was extremely stupid about it. it was two young dudes maybe early 20s at like 8pm between a mall and a train station in north east calgary. they ran up to me and one said "i have a knife give me your bag" and i said something like "gently caress you if you had a knife you'd have it out" so they started wailing on me lol i can't really fight for poo poo but i can take a beating. they didn't get me down but they did manage to pull my laptop bag away and hoof it, but i remembered a group of construction workers were getting off work nearby so i ran to them and asked for help. they had a truck running already so they all piled in and chased the muggers down. the muggers dropped my bag and kept running so we stopped to grab the bag and i thanked them a lot. my lip was split and i bled all over myself and looked like a bit of a horror show but it healed up fine. i didn't even realize i was in a rough area because it's not like i was downtown near the cecil hotel or anything but later i learned poo poo like that happened all the time there

my family in general are scrappy as gently caress, my dad used to box and i used to get into fights all the time as a kid and win just by outlasting the other kid. i'd get absolutely destroyed now in a fight though, old fat with hosed up hands, rip

thanks to following the presidential guidelines of yolo, my dad got the rona from his republican poker buddies. he's been sick now for 9 days and just got admitted to the hospital. he's now alone and afraid he's going to die and i feel loving horrible because i don't wanna lose my dad.
