I feel like for single player you want to look into mods as soon as you got a good handle on things to make it more like factorio or add a more RPG like experience to it. If you like lego and building massive sprawling megaprojects than its like crack and very zen like but I find it hard to come back to it because I feel like I know there's a goal and that once you meet the goal there's not much else.

To be fair to the others, Ina's goals all involved staying above ground and never having to be awake at night, which meant she was never in any real danger barring the odd creeper spawn that can happen.

I believe that its because saying the US is involved is the reason that its become a thing. Coco and Haachama mentioning Taiwan is the catalyst but if you look at most of the smear campaigns and twitter spam they've been directed at Coco because the extreme nationalist see her as the "American target" that they can direct their hate to. Haachama's twitter has actually gotten much less in the way of hate messages and spam in comparison to Coco and based on some of the information I've been following they main push by the extreme Chinese nationalist was Coco and Haachama(being Japanese but from Japan) is just collateral. They can't go after Youtube (ie. Google) because they are too big of an American company but they can try to pin all of that on Coco having lived in America and thus can be sacrificed for their cause. What they didn't expect was how much international support Coco had and their willingness to engage the antis. This coupled with Gura (they decided not to target her because she was too big and did not reside in Japan) outright paying tribute to Coco in song and Fubuki tweeting about future plans has caught their push off guard. The real test will be what happens with the 3 weeks are up and what final push they do. If they get sucked up with the BTS stuff it'll cripple their plans which will be a good thing. After that Cover needs to decide how it wants to handle Billibilli and doing business with them.

Well, she has been experimenting with death machines, giant demonic portals, and is soon to discover flying TNT machines so I would say Usada construction is in a good spot. Your items might despawn if you're in the chunk for 5 minutes if you died, in that case there's a tombstone mod which will collect your things into a breakable block.

re: minecraft mods, the server I've been playing on uses a mod where you just don't drop your stuff when you die. That might be a much easier solution than non-despawning. Corpse runs are boring.

you don't even need a mod for that, just put gamerule keepInventory true in the console. If the world was created without cheats enabled, you can open to lan plus allow cheats to turn it on, and the command is saved even if you go back to non-lan play.

Think you can also type "/gamerule keepInventory true" into chat (might need to have cheats enabled though). That way you can just keep your inventory on death and not worry about losing potentially hours of progress because you acccidenly walked into lava.
