The basic idea is the game will be constantly looking around the player for mobs, and if there aren’t enough of the right ones, it’ll spawn in batches of them. You can increase the efficiency of farms by setting it up so, in this case piglins, spawn and immediately get put into the over world, freeing up spawns for more piglins to spawn. It’ll be interesting to see if pekora wants to go whole hog and actually make a nether perimeter, which is borderline necessary for nether farms, in which case we’ll probably see flying tnt dupers sooner rather than later. (A perimeter is where you dig out all of the blocks in a sphere around where a player will sit afk to run a farm in order to control the spawns and make it so the only valid place the game can spawn mobs is in your farm. You can also do other things to just make everywhere else unable to spawn stuff, but the nether makes it really hard to effectively do that without just digging it all out.) Oh good what a terrible snipe

Calli talked a tiny bit about her applying for HoloLive. Her non-streaming talents were fine, but when it came to how she performed as a streamer, she had a bunch of technical problems crop up and interrupt her. Apparently she handled it well, because they told her that her improvisation while struggling with the tech stuff was great, and one of the reasons she made it all the way through. Oh hey there is an SA thread about this. This vTuber phenomena has infected every discord I am a part of after I accidentally pushed someone into the rabbit-hole roughly a year ago and then they proceeded to pull me into it too. It's been a wild ride and my workload is suffering because I spend more time doing this:  rather than actually work. Still waiting for Kaichou and Haachama to return from their suspension. It really sucks that it was made to be three weeks, as they could have really used Coco's prescence this week to sort of bridge the gap between HoloJP and HoloEN. Instead it is going to just be a collab between Subaru and Kiara tomorrow.
