I'm actually curious how they vote on the ISS. Like, do they get postal ballots in the resupply ship and then send them back down again? Where are they registered to vote? Space?

Great question about how, I'd like to know too. I have no idea, but my guess is that confirming the authenticity of the voting information sent via email by the few people on the ISS is probably a much less daunting proposition than doing so for millions and millions of people across the whole country.

Voting by email is an even worse idea than electronic voting machines. As humans we are incredibly terrible at securing computer systems. It would only be a matter of time until someone broke in and changed the all-electronic vote counts with basically 0 traces or evidence.

By now I recognize the abstract shape of the panels in the 2x2 and can identify it before noticing what the panels even depict.
