There's been, like, six musical adaptations so I don't know which one they had in Quebec, but I'm specifically referring to the one Disney made. First they did a German one for a few years and then retooled it and did it in English. Never made it to Broadway, I guess Disney decided that we wanted Frozen instead. The full cast recording is on YouTube, it slaps.

A live-action remake for the Hunchback of Notre Dame should just shove together everything from the versions Phelous reviewed. Quasimodo should be a handsome secret angel and Esmerelda should have talking musical instruments and get together with Quasimodo in the end. Frollo should simultaneously be an abbe, a baron's son, a nondescript lord, and a sheriff, and also have an inkstain on his hand that signifies how evil he is. Hunchback of Notre Dame cash-ins got pretty... creative in places, is what I'm saying.

It's all a bit of an odd situation that one, as I do occasionally get people showing Larry's vid to me saying that he's flagrantly ripped my Beanie Babies vid off! (the simplest solution would have been to put my vid on his channel of course, but Larry had had quite a few nasty comments over doing that with other vids at the time, so we kind of ended up with this meet in the middle-type thing. All works out fine in the end.)
