Huh, I have an office but didn't see how to assign my night club guy to anything but sporting goods, which was already being worked. I'll double-check tonight before buying a warehouse.

I just want an Oppressor to be able to get to places faster. Most missions seem to force you to drive lovely cars that handle like rear end and move really slowly.

Honestly, I think I might have been able to because I own a vehicle warehouse. never owned a crate one.

Do you own a Hangar? Air Freight counts for Nightclub Cargo/Shipments.

"Ah," Ratz had said, at last, "the artiste."
Now that I own both I think the Oppressor Mk 1 might actually be faster than the Mk 2? The rocket boost seems way stronger and you get more momentum. Of course, you have to aim it and actually dodge obstacles, drive up the mountain/etc instead of flying over it so the Mk2 is still 'easier' because you can just hold down a button and check your phone or whatever.

I'm sure some nerd has worked this out and I'm completely wrong but I'm just going off personal experience here!

You don't actually need a warehouse to assign one to crates, an office is enough. Also getting coke, meth and counterfeit money from mc businesses is a good investment in the long run for nightclub. and coke gives okay if you just buy supplies as a side thing.

You do need either a crate warehouse(any size S M or L) or a hangar, in order to use the "cargo" technician at the nightclub.
Vehicle warehouse has nothing to do with nightclub, red herring
Bunker and Cargo are the big money in nightclub, but also the slowest.

I don't have things in a good format to just data dump them here, but in the discord there are a lot of maps and tables and docs for most all of the business and money making things. There's a general "how to get started" doc which has a lot of the meta game stuff, and then more of the tedious number crunch stuff if you ask about specific things

Mk1 can boost pretty much every 3 seconds so yes, it's a lot faster

Oppressor is good for contact missions too but it has a limit on missile capacity while the Savage does not. Savage is great for PvE, especially in contact missions.

MK 1 just boosting down a highway is much faster, and if you can kind of time your hops when offroading to keep the boost coming back as much as possible, but MK 2 probably still wins out in terms of convenience. Mk 1 is a ton of fun though.

You can do the casino ones and doomsday with just 2 people, you don't need the full four. You'll usually find either players who seem to have stumbled their way in somehow, people with no idea what to do, heist trolls and a few people who know them inside out and will just take over and basically do it all themselves.

Use the goon discord if you want more reliable help probably.

If you are lucky you'll get maybe 1 in 5 pubbies who can actually hold their own in a heist setup. There are a few items that are invaluable to unlock (Insurgent for one) but they have mostly been passed over for newer vehicles in the meta-game. Heists can definitely be fun as long as you aren't being hamstrung by a pubbie.

Are you on console or PC?

I've found the batmobile largely eliminates pubbie incompetence failures. If you know what you're doing, the boost and missiles let you get to the destination and finish the job before the pubbies even get there.

They still occasionally get themselves killed just driving to the objective tho

Original heists are def worth doing through at least one time. Several good price unlocks, and if you get a decent squad, knocking out the Loyalty and All in Order bonuses are a million each. Later in the game it might be worth it to try again for criminal mastermind as that has a $10m reward

I did the very first tutorial heist and spent way too long failing my friend's casino heist with a very bad set up that wouldn't have netted much anyway.

Really do want to do them though, the content seems fun and the discount rewards are a nice incentive.

Oh my god, No. They are simply too difficult and have too many moving parts to reliably play with randos. Even with 4 people working together, those heists are not easy. It took me and my buddies like 2 hours to beat the Prison heist finale, man that poo poo was dumb. I never ended up playing the rest of the heists.

For what it's worth, the Prison Break finale is consistently one of the hardest finales of the original heists.

I agree though, gently caress running heists with pubbies. Sit on Goon Theft Auto Discord, ask for goons to help - some of us have done the original heists literally hundreds of times.

I ended up buying a small office and setting up the counterfeit factory for the passive night club stuff. I have 3 technians and three products, so it is what it is for now. I also bought the extra storage floors, figuring the discount is good and I'll probably want them at some point.

Also bought the deluxo since it's so cheap right now, though I'm unable to outfit it for now since I don't have an MOC. I figured I can wait for a sale or until I make more money to grab that.

Anyway, it's been fun! Despite running into hackers or horribly racist user names basically everyday, the game itself is really fun, especially with friends.

Any opinions on the penthouse missions? My friend has it and I've done two so far, the first was brutal and very difficult, where it starts you in a firefight and you have to protect the one guy against 100 guys and helicopters and stuff. But the second, where you blow up oil tankers, was pretty fun. Just doesn't seem particularly worth it to repeat after you do it once and get the 50k bonus.

I think all of the missions are fun just to try stuff out... but I’m not in it for money so I may not be the one to ask.

Do the casino penthouse missions though, once you do like 5 or 10, you get a sweet car that can’t be bought any other way I think?

Note that you only get given the car once you've hosted the mission chain, just playing in someone else's lobbies won't do it

As stated you get it from hosting the 7 Agatha Baker casino missions. And yes the Enus Paragon R (armored) is a very unique vehicle you can only get that way. You also receive the ability to unlock the "Security Intel" prep for the Casino Heist, which is pretty useful ("Completing this mission allows players to see all locations and cones of vision for all security cameras during the heist.").

Do the anti-idle trick by starting a Contact Mission from one of your apartments, but don't leave the apartment - just sit on couch and watch TV. Go to work/school/errands/sleep/whatever. When you get home, you should still be logged in. You can complete the mission and when you load back into Online, you'll find your businesses (MCs, Bunker, NC, etc.) will have been accruing stock the entire time.

EDIT: You want to start a Contact Mission job so you don't get hit with daily fees every 48 minutes.
