Farm subsidies exist to keep farmers solvent when their crops aren't needed and control the supply when they are.

Anyone that takes him seriously at all has had blinders on for like 20 years.

The best part of about Jon Stewart annihilating him on TV was that is also derailed the careers of Paul Begala, James Carville, and Robert Novak, who were all his co-hosts on Crossfire at the time and Tucker got obliterated so badly that CNN basically instantly cancelled the show.

That's a Biden success story.

Something about Trump is actually trying to help his supporters because heat kills COVID.

A number post for you all.

We have had 375,428 people vote in district so far as of yesterday. We are sitting at 63.7% turnout.

For comparison, 2016 had 318,041 people vote.

I think we have a real shot of pulling this off. I could use help making calls this weekend to get everyone we can out to vote Tuesday.

We could also use funds to run some last-minute ads to keep pushing people to the polls. Anything helps!

Good luck! I am excited about the possibility of a Blue Texas in my lifetime.

This one is still a good idea if you have the moon to launch from. just launching into orbit from earth would have required dozens of small nukes if not hundreds. You can get up to a pretty modest percentage of C with that method if you have the right materials for your pusher plate, and thousands of nukes.

Yeah but it is all owned by individuals or shareholders. Its market manipulation with public funds in an rear end backward attempt at post hoc central planning, but it isn't 'socialism'. The workers do not own the fields or have a say in how they are put into production.

This is a common thing with elected representatives in the US: one is their personal account and campaigning, one is for official House/Senate business.

Then there's some people, like Chuck Grassley, who use one account for both, meaning his announcements about Senate business come from the same source as him going to the Windsor Heights Dairy Queen for u kno what.
