IMO the Red Sox's handling of the scandal is far worse than the Astros and they should be getting roasted a lot more. Instead they're just going to be largely forgotten as the Astros take all the bullets. It sucks.

I'm just glad the Dodgers got their ring after all this. This sounds weird but after reflecting a little on it it kind of rights some of the wrongs of the situation. Hell, they should probably win next year too.

Heyman predicted that Bauer will sign with the Giants for 5/150. We absolutely need a SP and he's the best one available. But $30 million a year for a 3.9 ERA pitcher who wasn't that great until like his 5th year in the majors makes me itch. Gonna be interesting to see how high the bidding goes. (I don't put any stock in Bauer's one-year contract stuff. He's the best free agent and he's gonna get paid)

tl;dr - zero punishment for Turner because he apologized and was both encouraged to go onto the field by his teammates and also maybe lied to that other Dodgers had tested positive so he figured gently caress it we've all got plague might as well celebrate. Kinda feel like the correct PR move here is to fine Turner but put the money towards a COVID relief fund or something, but MLB hates making good PR decisions so this works too.
