Yeah Avalanche was a clear favorite for my wife and I. I loved the actual avalanche effect looking like a screen wipe to chunks of styrofoam.

There are NINETEEN Italian Hercules movies. Plus a few more that were rebranded as Hercules movies when they were dubbed into English. ("Hercules Against the Moon Men" is one of the latter.)

I would honestly pay good money if someone did a complete box set of those(including the rebranded ones), would be a good time

Out of curiosity, what was the original Italian version of that movie about then?

I actually watched that episode for the first time recently; was disappointed to find out that there's no HD print of the thing because holy crap there was some real cool old-school ~*cinema magic*~ in that film.

The shot with the campfires, the human mountain, all the matte paintings, etc.

MST3K should've done the 1983 HERCULES starring Lou Ferrigno

I like the part of Time Travelers where Jonah is trying to point out how cool the stage magic used for the effects is and Crow and Tom just not having it.

One cool thing about MST3K is learning about all the regional folkloric strong guys. You got Maciste in Hercules against the Moon Men, Lemminkainen in The Day the Earth Froze, Ilya Muromets in the Sword and the Dragon...

It makes me think we need a version of Every Country Has a Monster but for Regional Folkloric Strong Guys.

So what crazy and probably stupid MST3K ideas have you guys had, cause lately I've had this idea in my head to try and somehow make happen a theatrical showing of the Catalina Caper episode at the Casino theater over on Catalina Island(as I've mentioned I've got family over there and everything so I've got a bit of a personal connection) once COVID dies down for real

Yeah it's a weird movie! My best friend in high school had a Polish dad that knew all about it and had never heard of mst3k. Apparently they were a happy accident of Russian mob money and the government wanting to start up their own version of Hollywood

A pity there's not a terrible movie out there about Cú Chulainn. Actually there undoubtedly is, I've just never heard of it.
