But also the mission pass has a bunch of them up for grabs so do those tier missions.

Nope. They have the same augments no matter the difficulty. That said, I think the units you get for doing Ch 5 story are better at +10 than the campaign units at +10 and you can get em on normal so feel free to blow through them with your OP weapon. If you aren't far into the story, they're decent and it costs no meseta to grind the units right now.

Phobos units have no PP so they're pretty bad. For an alt you really don't give a poo poo about sure whatever but anything that's vaguely PP hungry is gonna have a bad time with them.

At the cost of 35 PP, you gain:

85 MEL Pwr
85 RNG Pwr
85 RNG Pwr
117 MEL Def
201 RNG Def
159 TEC Def

 They work better for me and keep me alive longer while also boosting attack. I'm only playing hero and gunner, though, and am far from an expert. In that regard, I'm sorry for claiming they are better. To someone who has played a ton of PSO2 but absolutely despises the affix system, they're both excellent sets. :shobon:

The problem is I need 150 for the upgrade and even though I am going to clear the mission pass it won’t be enough (unless I am misremembering the amounts).

I was really hoping they would toss them on the weapon badge vendor next content update just so I don’t have to stress about trying to get people to let me tag along on their triggers.

So uh, are you guys getting your RWB4s for completing 3 UQs? Because I'm not, and I am sure I couldn't have possibly already earned the max number of them (300, and I haven't done 30 UQs since 11/25). I've done at least 4-5 UQs just today, and nothing on my visiphone saying I had a reward. They're supposed to pay out as you earn them, too.

I'm just around the beginning of Chapter 2 (the Weyland part) of Episode 5 (for campaign rewards) and it's clear that it's the point where Episode 5's story got rewritten since they skipped over what clearly was a story-mandated Buster Quest and just showed the aftermath.

Edit: Nevermind, there's a Story Buster Quest just after that. I guess they just skipped one for some bizarre reason.

I think they skip over a few of them if I remember right. It's kinda nice that they don't make you do like 10 of them for the story.

It's a good thing because playing a Buster Quest solo can be a pain in the rear end since it's clearly designed for multiple players, even in the story version. The bright side is that it counts as a Buster Quest for the Tier Missions.

I think my biggest problem with them is getting matched with 7 random people, who knows how many of which actually know what's going on. I swear, every time the buster rams spawn, I end up being the only person protecting the one I'm protecting, the rest of them are all focused on the other one, or doing... something, who knows what.

And not just the buster rams, during defense phases I feel like sometimes half the team just fucks off and it's me and another person or two trying to peel enemies off the towers, take out the laser tower things, etc. Like I end up focusing on one of the big baddies, take it out, only to turn around and see two towers getting absolutely covered in enemies with no one around to fight them off

But yeah when I'm matched with non-idiots, it goes a lot better, but I suppose that's the case for any UQ. :v:

e. I might be extra sensitive to this because I was playing VH Madness yesterday, thinking it'd be faster / easier and still satisfy the UQ requirements for the RWB4s, so I was playing with lower level characters and maybe that's why

Yeah a common issue that comes up is the fact that it's so easy to reach the level needed for the max difficulty or pretty much any quest that anyone who has any idea who knows what they're doing will be running it at max, generally. So the only people you tend to see in the lower difficulties are people who literally just started and don't really know what they're doing.

Leveling another alt I found SH clown castle to be an utter waste of time and had better luck in VH. Worse xp but way less failure rate and less stressful. On hero I could keep one side mostly clean by myself and pitch in on the other if needed and that's with an unaffixed occuld I bought from the shop and two unground challenge mode revolsios.

Was feeling brave, so I took my lv. 89 Ranger through the XH Dark Revelry quest. Sure, I really haven't played this class on anything that difficult, and sure I am still figuring out my iframes and what my ideal PAs are, but I'm sure it won't be so bad right? I'll just hope for a good team and I'll figure it out as I go. It's easy enough when I XH it as a Braver (which I've sunk like 300 hours into), how bad could it be on my Ranger?

... shout out to the people who resurrected me like a half dozen times throughout the course of that run, and I suppose I should figure out how to actually play the class before I try that again

e. So I have two Val Alz gunblades sitting in storage. How dumb would I be to upgrade one to Atlas and convert it to a launcher, for farmin'? I've been rocking a Sigma Bastad +29 for a while, but I'd like something with a bit more oomph.

e2. Boo, the Atlas launcher isn't all class, nevermind. Occuld is but yikes at the price. I'll just go get a Shooting Drive.

I don't even have everyone's main and sub class at 90 yet on the NA servers and they're about to move the cap up to 95. poo poo I haven't played this for months and I don't think I even finished getting my 2nd class to 75 to unlock hero, much less all the poo poo since then. When Ep6 hits will leveling to 80 or 90 or whatever the level cap is increasing from be made any less tedious or will it still rely heavily on keys to shortcut the grind?

I've been accumulating a lot of Thanksgiving badges and the exchange shop disappears on the 9th. Given I already have atlas weapons and have been grinding erebite stones heavily, is there a use in exchanging them for rising weapon badges? Am I better off investing heavily in Turkey?

Turkey expires when the servers go down for maintenance on Tuesday, so really there's nothing to spend them on other than rising badges. We might get some triggers added to the RWB4 shop I guess.

Pyro Jack

It isn't that hard to get everything in the Turkey Exchange Shop, especially if you just wanted one of each furniture and Rappy costume.

Anyway, I'm finally done with the story of Episode 5, I guess I should say my opinion on it. It's alright but Buster Quests, depending on the person, can be alright, boring or a pain in the rear end, especially involving the Urgent Quest ones. The story is decent but you can clearly see that they had to rewrite the story alongside dropping Story Buster Quests after the negative reception of being forced to do online stuff in a solo-focused story mode. Like there's alot of stuff that was scrapped involving Episode 5 like mounts of all things which seems kinda unnecessary considering that there isn't any overworld in the slightest and the areas aren't that big to require a mount. Maybe in New Genesis but not PSO2.

To sum it all up...

(You might need to open it in a new page since the text in timg is surprisingly small.)

Now to grab some Void Erebite Fragments to get a Trailblazer weapon, do the campaign involving the Limited Quest and after that...

Deal with this problem at the 9th.

Exchange to rwb4 for triggers eventually and boosters if you need them later. Don't invest in turkey as it also expires after the maintenance.
