A lot of Elemental Specialist achievements are obnoxious because you can't just kill things while causing those reactions, the reaction specifically has to be what kills them. I got the achievement by following guides like this one, though I used some different characters where I had better ones.

Got C4 Xinyan and Unforged, which was what I wanted from this banner, had all the mats ready to boost them both up to 80. Threw a (crappy) bolide set on her and let her go wild. She's really fun, I got her teamed up with mona, fish and qiqi. Qiqi and fish give her the superconduct with the occasional melt and popping mona's ult followed up by xinyan's seemed like a really good aoe combo. I find her one idle animation a strange choice though lol

She can easily get another +25% base ATK too. These should help make up for the worse scaling. Her ATK speed is not as good as Razor's burst's, I'll admit, but it's much easier to maintain and can potentially be up indefinitely. Finally, her burst hits like a truck and might be the single strongest instance of physical damage in the game. Well, anyway I guess I'll take it as a teambuilding challenge now that the game doesn't want my Chongyun to get stronger right now.

I've not used any of my currency since launch week, just saving for this banner. Was only aiming to take Razor from C1 to max which I was able to do. Ended up getting a Mona, and Zhongli, and maxed out Xinyan. Pretty profitable but not sure what to do with the three characters I wasn't shooting for.

Should I build up Childe w/ R3 Rust or Mona with Skyward Atlas? I usually am using Diluc and Keqing for DPS and some combination of Venti, Diona, Bennet, Fischl, XQ for support.

I bought the 5 standard wishes from the monthly stardust shop and somehow got an off-pity 5* from the standard banner   Too bad I don't have a Zhongli to wield it. Hope I can scrape together the 20-30ish rolls to hit pity before the banner ends

Boo to all you lucky Zhongli-havers. Boooo, I say. On another note, does anybody else feel like leyline enemies are more likely to drop materials than regular mobs? I dunno if anybody's actually gone out and tested it, but when I get Treasure Hoarder leylines pretty much every single enemy will drop something; I also just finished a Cicin leyline that dropped all three rarities of Mist Grass product and two rarities of the Fatui insignias.

Zhongli, Childe, and Jean are my 5*s. Would Childe with Bolide, Zhongli with Archaic Petra, and Jean with Viridescent Venerer work at all (and Fischl or another elemental support as the last slot)? Or should I just split him off and put him on his own team?

Trip report: I gave Zhongli 30k health and 170% energy recharge and run him with a C2 Chongyun. As a support he is just an infinite shield generator with ~8k shields with that shield strengthening thing he has that is also vomiting out a meteor every 10 seconds. He's doing ~14k damage per meteor with crits going to 28k. It isn't the most amazing damage but he renders me unstaggerable as a DPS between the petrify and the shield, and when things get really, really bad I can just whip him out to face tank everything and just get punched until he can put up another shield. Dropping a meteor into a Venti frost swirl also produces more frost shields than god and it's pretty funny to see the remnants of a treasure hunter gang all in a neat pile. I had 9 pulls since I used a couple to hit my Wanderlust pity for Keqing. I ended up getting... c3 Noelle. Like... game. There's 3 claymore users on the banner. You're gonna give me the one 4* claymore that isn't? drat. I'm 45 or so rolls deep into the character banner pity, so I'll probably hit Zhong before the banner's up, but drat. I'm never gonna understand how some of y'all get so many 4*s in less than 10 pulls (and forget getting 2 5*s within 10)-- almost everything I have is a pity roll.

Outside of burst his claw is a super low cooldown and during burst he's constantly applying electro. I dunno if it's the most ideal sword for him compared to other options but he's gonna have no problem making the most use of it.
