But I think parity between college players and minor leaguers will start to even out. I wouldn't be surprised if we see more prospects going the college route though as there is more competition for fewer minor league spots and the prospects of being washed out in your mid-20s with no degree is probably a pretty tough choice. If you're a top prospect then minors are still the way to go. In that way MLB is pushing the pipeline onto colleges. The other side of it is perhaps independent leagues start to pick up more talent.
