I would complain but it's more accurate than not a lot of the time  AFAIK fry is just a huge melt, loves to talk and complain about things but won't actually support anything that could change anything. Just a professional bore. I don't get why people in this world and especially this country put so much stock in stupid eton accents.

Never could get past Fry's uber-smug, condescending upper class accent and mannerism. Few people radiate a worse aura of arrogance and conceit, even if it's "just a persona or whatever" - it's still extremely off-putting, and glorifies the worst in English culture.

I love Stephen Fry for many reasons, but he is very "your fave is problematic" and one of those celebrities that think just because he's gay, he's immune to being bigoted in other ways. Unfortunately sometimes you just have to accept then for what they are and enjoy them for the good parts. But not excuse it. Like how I love Ross noble, bill Bailey and Tim Minchin, but while I haven't seen anything they've done that's not okay, I'm sure it's out there. Especially Ross noble tbh, But more so with Stephen Fry because he's so fancy old school upperclass I just assume he's more, unaware? I guess? He's just, unable to do better, which really isn't okay? It's not an excuse, and he's definitely smart enough to be better, but, again, something something your fave is problematic?
