I didn't watch the fight but Tapology says end of first round doctor's stoppage for a broken nose, so...pretty well? I thought that fight had a real good chance of being the best women's fight of the year, but then Weili/Joanna went and had one of the greatest fights of all time the very same week. Both were great, gutsy scraps, though.

Dana White is a loving monster who failed upwards into wealth and power, and who isn't good at his job, and he needs to go. But the fights have been loving magnificient. The 155-135 divisions are so good. From a competitive standpoint, outside of 205/265 and some of the women's divisions, right now the UFC may be better than it has ever been

There's not much reason to doubt that Stipe, Francis, and DC are among the best heavyweights in the history of the sport, especially in an even nominally PED-tested environment. The problem is that the quality growth at heavyweight has been stagnant for years (my impulse is to say that its growth slowed as we passed through the Brock/Cain/JDS/Ubereem era) and that has shown how shallow the division is (and has always been), while the lighter divisions are still showing lots of development and growth. IMO the best way to enjoy this sport is to watch 135-170 for elite performance, women's divisions for stylistic contrast*, the big fat boys as a trashweight side show, and then everything else is typically good enough often enough to be watchable in between. There are good fighters and fun fighters in every division. *(women have many great fights, but they unfold differently and that can be interesting in itself; mens divisions also have many bad fights, but women tend to be bad in different ways.)

You're leaving out 125 as if there aren't tons of great fights in that division. Well maybe not tons since there are 12 flyweights on the roster but when they do fight it is good and cool.

The total drawdown of B-league MMA has been really loving unfortunate to watch, especially in America. Bellator tries, but they've gradually become kind of an inconsistent mess under Coker and entering a calendar year with zero fights booked is a terrible look. PFL's seasonal booking is interesting, but it makes it basically impossible for anyone not ardently following the sport to follow them. Invicta's fights are fun, but they're so completely a feeder league for the UFC now that they barely self-promote and most of their draws are gone. Combate Americas is nothing and no one knows what LFA is aside from the only MMA organization that fires fascists. So you go international, except Rizin only holds six events a year and most of their international talent left for other promotions anyway, and One has a ton of talent and potentially interesting matchups but also massive booking and behind the scenes problems that make them keep stepping on their own feet, and it's all just kind of hosed. Russia is doing okay and KSW is trying their best, but it's a pretty bad scene out there for the B-leagues.
