My Irish citizenship application went in just before lockdown. And already they were warning the backlog is insane because of Brexit. I the rest of 2020 has made it any more likely I'll have a passport that lets me escape soon

I was midway through a temporary visa application for Canada that would let me work there for 2 years (and try to get permanent residency while doing so) but then Covid happened. Kicker is that I cant do this particular visa once I'm over 30. And I turn 31 in May, wooo

Yeah WHV. I did it before for 1yr, then they made it 2yr but if you'd only done the 1yr once you can still apply. I think I still have options but they're all less straightforward than this would have been. It might help me that I want to be in a province other than Ontario and BC also theres the matter of convincing the gf that the UK is terrible and we should leave, but thankfully Boris might be doing that for me

My ex gf from 2015 is a Bitcoin HODL-er. She bought in at 3k per coin and refused to cash in at 40k peak and now it's dropped to 32k. Still a good return but she is gonna hold forever I think.

I have no idea, she told me to invest when it was at 19k like 3 years ago then it fuckin tanked to nothing now capped at 40k and fell 8k in couple of days. If I went in when it was 3k and had a good income (she is in software project management so not hurting for money) I get the idea of holding on to it but by god 37k profit from internet jpegs would've solved so many things in my life.
