I have no expectations that any of my staff members should have to come in at 7am to take in a delivery especially solo. Aces in places so I take in all deliveries, do my management role and then run the kitchen. It's not ideal but hospitality is struggling and by me chosing to do this and doing around 60 hours a week than I can deploy more hours to my hourly staff. People struggle and if I can do something to help then I will. Most drivers will help out but some choose to refuse to provide their trolley and will stand and watch you while talking on their phones. So if you're getting paid 30k+ to do that then good on you I suppose.
