Trump was a destructive/malicious idiot who always got bailed out at the last second so why change his SOP plus he surrounds himself with yes men which always ensures a situation is driven off a cliff if it doesn't crash first.

It was like peter-principaled evil where after each firing completely hosed the more mild evil minions and the new hire had to do something more evil than the last to be noticed or make progress. It was a pretty good way to find the worst people in our society if it weren't so damaging. Trump is drained and he just had the rug pulled out from under his feet on the whole media empire thing which, honestly, is a miracle because if he got re-elected or even just did nothing all this poo poo would have worked and entrenched itself and in four years we would all be watching Facist and Friends on Trump News Network. We still might but at least it looks like there are some people paying attention now.

What I'm saying is ,actually, Trump is the hero we needed but not the one we deserve
