I still hear them quite often where I live. There's a road here that people seem to think is a sort of rat run, but due to recent developments it's really more of a cat run (because cats keep getting run over by people driving too fast).

Dunno if it counts as German, but when my smart failed it's MOT the garage refused to do the work saying it was "too fiddly". Had to do it myself. Infact I think I posted photos on here

Want to change the transmission oil on my digger. The driveshaft(?) is in the way of the transmission sump plug, so you can't pull it out. You have to split the vehicle in half I think to remove this. They manual is a lovely black and white photo copy cropped to avoid seeing what might be this bit. Thinking about buying another digger to lift the first one apart.
