If you start the game now, you can pick a single 5* from a small list, but after the update they're changing it to 50 rolls that you can reroll for free if you don't like.

The summon screen music slaps. This is a dream come true for reroll obsessed gacha game fans.  Happily spent a couple hours last night mashing that refresh button watching sparklies pop up and getting to know all the 5*s. This is so easy and painless I’ll happily sink a few days into rerolling while watching TV to see if I can get a completely busted start. I feel so powerful making hundreds of gacha pulls and discarding so many 5*s.

I heard something about tonight at 10pm there being a banner switch. I was encouraged to wait to reroll till after then because the current banner isn’t so great? I’m perfectly content to spend up to a week rerolling while watching TV. I’m thinking my goal is Grace plus two of anything top tier. Most of what I’ve been reading has suggested I want to watch for Gala Mars, Gala Thor, Gaibhne & Creidhne, or most of the Gala characters.

Thanks I am doing the tutorial roll and didn’t realize at first freaking names in the Rate list don’t match the pulls. I got suspicious early on when I saw nothing with Gala so hopefully didn’t toss out an awesome pull. Right now I have a pull with Thor and Mars that I am debating on. Not much else though, Lapis only adventurer and also Cerberus and Andromeda. Hmm..

A few days into this and having a blast. Wound up taking a starting roll with Grace and Gala Mars but not a lot else. 2x free daily ten pulls on the Persona banner has paid off big coughing up Joker, Mona, Shinobi and Ramiel. After getting the two headline units I’ve been hoarding tickets and wyrmite for later. I’ve been plugging away at the event and almost have Sophie done, currently at 47/50 on the Mana Circles thing. Joker and Grace are on the rise and I’ve got all the FarmVille buildings now for my little town. (I caved and took the story skip after the first four or so chapters) I also bought all five builder dragon dudes so they’re merrily working away upgrading buildings. Is there a goon alliance I can join? That’s the next step on the Royal Regimen for me. Also I’ve got 290.5k eldwater burning a hole in my pocket. I read somewhere that I want to spend those on wyrmprints first before spending them on units. It’s unclear whether “don’t spend eldwater on any units” or “don’t waste eldwater on 3* junk that won’t last” was the intention of the poster though. Am I safe to sink some eldwater into Joker and Grace? I’m guessing I want the +Dagger and +Staff wyrmprints for both too?

Grace is extremely good. Joker seems good. Not sure about the goon alliance but you can just make one of your own and it'll qualify. I'm pretty sure the goon alliance doesn't actually do anything.

Wyrmprints are cheaper, a bigger power jump, and reusable across all your characters compared to finishing off mana circles or promoting units. You can spend water on units eventually, but making sure you can afford all the Wyrmprints you want is a much more important thing in the short term. It costs 37k to either max out or buy a copy of a 5* print, and 17k to do that for a 4* print, so you're going to run dry really quickly.

THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND ELDWATER??? I am the happiest newbie alive! I was down to 120k and trying desperately to figure out how I could stretch it to get most of the wyrmprints I want. Now I might even have enough to spiral Euden or Karina! Probably not, but it’s less absurd a thought than 20 minutes ago!

Kind of surprised this game isn’t getting more chatter, it’s extremely cool and good. Had a big breakthrough today and finally have a team that can clear Kai Yan’s Wrath: Expert solo on auto! Managed to bump Joker’s Agito weapon up to 4/9 unbinds while the rest of the gang sits at 0/9 for now. My honey stash is hiding in the corner deeply afraid and for very good reason.  I’m getting extremely close to enough might to be able to queue for Kai Yan: Master so that’s exciting. Once I’ve got my shadow team up to the point where I can do Kai Yan: Master I’ll start working on teams for some of the other elements. Right now I just have one built character of each type for co-op.

Most of the guides I’ve seen have said to skip HDT and go straight from Chimeratech to Agito. It seems to be working well on my Shadow team, but it’d be nice to be able to farm HDTs for some of my weaker elements. I’ve even got a ton of Damascus Ingots collecting dust in my inventory cause Agito is 6*. Right now though, Kai Yan definitely didn’t skip leg day. THIGH MUSCLES SWELL UNSTOPPABLE INVINCIBLE

An ehh launch can stifle your success for years in the gacha market, usually you have to outright rename/rebrand the game to get back people who wrote it off, like Princess Connect --> Princess Connect Re:Dive.

I pretty much stick with content I can clear on auto since swiping/tapping fast gives me pains in my arms after a few minutes. I can get every HDT, every Agito on the lowest difficulty, and 3 out of 5 master Agitos done though.

The best/worst thing about pulling Ryszarda is having her on the home screen repeatedly saying “Faris and Pinon are my juniors, and I must hold myself together so I can protect them”. The voice actor says the names funny so it sounds like “Farts and peeing on are my juniors”.

It's almost seemingly arbitrary which ones are immune and which aren't. Like energy stuff is hosed across the board, but Gala Thor's isn't because his entire kit seemingly relies on it or he's just a 50% str dragon. A lot of ground buffs also seem hosed which also makes him a better pick than Daiko since his attack speed ground buff is hosed. Pipple ded, Grace ded, Primed Buffs seem ded, Annelie ded, Chitose ded, etc.

I get that veterans are a little bored with the doublebuff meta. But as a newbie who rerolled hard for Grace and invested heavily into Patia and Karina, it feels real bad to see the game heading that direction. I mean, it’s endgame content and I don’t even have all my teams kitted out with 4/9 Agito weapons nevermind approaching legend difficulty. So I doubt it’ll impact me any time soon. But it feels terrible to be investing in and grinding for all these characters knowing they’re hard countered by the next tier of endgame. It seems to be hitting the good 4* units especially hard.

Yeah I'm still far enough behind on the Agito stuff that the high-end changes don't really matter much to me yet. It'll be months before I care to give it more than a few attempts.

Seems like that version got updated/changed with tonights data download. https://dragalialost.wiki/w/User:Blaze/Sandbox2 A lot of the ones that seemed mostly unaffected like Gala Prince, Gala Luca, Hunter Sarisse, actually are nerfed, so it seems like they are being pretty even with the scam mode exclusive nerfs. So seems like it isn't "didn't roll on limited units? hahaha" so much as EVERYTHING is hosed. Except Dragonyule Lily, seems like she got to keep every bit of her kit except the generic healers 15% strength team buff. So if 4x Dragonyule Lilys become the new thing when Master Co-Op releases, that'll be funny in a way. I've seen some pictures of some pretty budget teams clearing solo though. Hildegarne + Normal Luca + Normal Julietta + Mitsuhide* being one, and if that's a day 1 clear, I'm sure there will be lots of wiggle room as people figure stuff out. *she is not mitsuba, woops Shitty Wizard fucked around with this message at 10:43 on Mar 12, 2021 |

Actually, I'm curious: is the game still incredibly hostile to being emulated? I know back in the day it was basically impossible but it's been a long time since I tried, and if I could play DL with a controller it would be ten times more enjoyable.

 Got my first expert Ciella clear on solo auto battle before my first co-op expert clear!  So now I can auto eCiella, eKai and I can clear eTartarus but not on auto.

I need to work on my auto agito teams at some point. I have eKai and sTart but I haven't put together a team for any of the others (the Tart team should be able to do expert once I get agito weapons for it but they're in chimera for the moment).
