I opened and watched my copy of TCM2 that I bought when it was announced that it was going out of print.

What the gently caress is this movie?

Tobe really did not want to make it but had to, contractually. So he made a parody of his own movie.

I sincerely love that TCM2 quadrupled down on the phallic imagery of chainsaws.

I grabbed the Shout blu ray for like $15 because of last year's Horror Director Bracketology thread, and had no idea it'd go OoP so quickly.

The standard blu ray the comes out in March, at $16, is a no-brainer safe bet. The deluxe Hunky Boys edition is a little expensive for me, and I loved it.

It's worth a paid rental at the very least. Should be coming to Shudder soon. They distributed it.

I loved the “90s family comedy” cover before I found out it was a riff on Houseguest - that’s incredible.

I know what you did last summer, and frankly I am displeased.
I know it's fashionable to say what a piece of poo poo Jingle All the Way is but Phil Hartman makes that movie worth watching. The scene with the cookies is pure gold.

Perhaps you have not been to the *Playground*.
The *Playground* is for Taalo and for Orz, but *Campers* can go.
It more fun than several.
You can go there for too much fun.
I found these at the thrift store I volunteer at and couldn't pass them up. I know they're worthless and can't be played at all but I had never seen them before. I might try to clean up the cases and hang them up on the wall next to the couple of CED Videodiscs I've found.

Shout Factory is putting out an Event Horizon blu-ray with a brand new scan of the negatives. And no, there is no director's cut footage and the talk of that VHS workprint seems to have turned up nothing. But it's nice if you don't have a copy of the movie or just wanted a better release.

It really is too bad that no one has cracked the DRM on these old DIVX discs. They're edited to 1.33:1 and are in SD with late 90s encodings, so they're probably one of the worst ways to watch a movie but I'm still curious to see what they looked and sounded like. I can't imagine being a salesman trying to sell these discs back in the day either. You just know a good portion of people bought them without realizing they were "rentals."
