I can’t find the video, but I remember her responding to a fan and saying if Calli was genuinely uncomfortable with her flirtations, she’d let her know and she’d back off. Both sides are in on this dynamic and it’s fun to see the dynamic. At the end of the day, I get that it isn’t for everyone. The good thing about vtubers is that you’re spoilt for choice.

I don't watch their collab streams very much but sometimes it just gets really uncomfortable. Back when they all played Phasmaphobia I had to stop watching because them doing the bit where Calli wanted to be left alone while Kiara harassed her while they were both dead mirrored way too well to bad memories of real life situations for me.

Aside from Maimoto's bouzu look, there's been a lot of new designs and defaults in Nijisanji lately and I was kind of surprised how different Utako's new default was. She looks 20 years younger, there's nothing wrong with it but the perverted aunt vibe definitely seemed to match her personality better.  I still really like Gundou's new default look though, it fits her perfectly.   Emma August also grew up from a tiny swimsuit demon to proper royalty a little while ago.
