Just saw that Imprint is putting out 1997's Breakdown on Blu, with new 4K transfer. I just ordered a copy from Diabolik, along with Black Sunday (1977). The old DVD is non-anamorphic from a laserdisc transfer and looked like complete trash.

Yeah Fincher now refers to his experience directing Alien 3 as "a situation where I was a hired gun to make a library title for a multinational, vertically integrated media conglomerate"

It's leagues better than the second one, as well. That movie listened to one and only one complaint people had about the first movie, the rating, and fixed it while making everything worse. It's a movie where 90% of it could have any 80s horror monsters put into the roles and it would work just as well.
